Your right to cancel (14 days)

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order with us for any reason within 14 days beginning the day after you receive your goods. To exercise this right, contact us in writing at sales@midlandfencingdirect.co.uk or call 07773 974469 within the 14-day window.

Returning the goods

  • Goods must be returned within 14 days of you telling us you wish to cancel.
  • Goods must be unused, undamaged and in their original condition.
  • You are responsible for the cost of return unless the goods are faulty or were sent in error.
  • For heavy goods (concrete posts, gravel boards, full fence panels) we can arrange collection — collection cost will be deducted from your refund and quoted before collection.

Refunds

We will refund the full price you paid for the goods (including standard outbound delivery) within 14 days of either receiving the goods back or you providing evidence of return, whichever is earlier. Refunds are made to the original payment method.

Faulty or damaged goods

If your order arrives damaged or is faulty, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you are entitled to a repair, replacement or full refund. We cover all costs for faulty or mis-dispatched items.

Items we cannot accept back

  • Bespoke, made-to-measure or cut-to-size items produced to your specification.
  • Goods that have been installed, painted, stained or otherwise altered.
