How long do fence panels last?
Properly installed pressure-treated featheredge panels typically last 15–20 years. Pair them with slotted concrete posts and rock face gravel boards and you'll get longer still, because the timber never touches the ground.
What's the difference between featheredge and lap panels?
Featheredge panels are the strongest and longest-lasting — vertical boards overlapped onto horizontal back rails. Lap (overlap) panels are lighter and cheaper, with horizontal boards woven between vertical battens. For long-term garden boundaries we recommend featheredge.
How many fence panels do I need?
Each fence panel covers roughly 1.83m (6ft). For a 20m fence run that's about 11 panels plus 12 posts and 11 gravel boards. WhatsApp us your total length and we'll work the package out for you.
Do you deliver fence panels?
Yes — local delivery across the Midlands from our WS10 depot. Charges start at £15 (approximately £1 per mile after that) on an £80 minimum order. We confirm a delivery day personally with every order.
Can I collect fence panels?
Yes — Click & Collect from WS10 7DZ with a minimum of 24 hours' notice. Bring a van or pickup for full-size panels.
